It is a blessing in disguise for about 16 children suffering from various heart conditions.
The Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation has granted $300,000 to the Fiji College of General Practitioners Children's Heart Foundation to pay for 16 children for heart surgery in India.
President of the General Practitioners Children's Heart Foundation, Dr Wahid Khan confirmed that they are looking at 16 children who should benefit and to receive life-saving surgery by November.
Meanwhile, the Permanent Secretary for Health Doctor Salanieta Saketa acknowledged the assistance from the Vodafone ATH Foundation.
