The fire that claimed an innocent life in Mead Road, Nabua, last month was the result of children playing with matches.
The National Fire Authority has confirmed that the children who were left unattended were playing with matches after which a fire started that destroyed the lean to house.
Three boys and the 15 month old baby girl were alone in the house and while the boys managed to escape the fire, the baby girl was trapped inside the house and lost her life.
NFA has urged parents not to leave their children unattended.
