More children with heart conditions could get a chance of a full life if there were more donors to the cause.
These are the sentiments of Fiji College of General Practitioners Children=s Heart Foundation Trustee Secretary Gyan Singh who said together with the Vodafone ATH Heart Foundation they have managed to send 41 children to India for heart surgery.
Singh said the Foundation and the trips to India have been fully operational since 2007, adding that those that are part of the foundation are professionals in their fields who volunteer their services.
Singh adds the Foundation operates on assistance and donations and right now help of any kind would help a child with a heart condition go a long way.
