Children are our future and what better way to help them by contributing to their education from the beginning.
These are the sentiments of the Foundation of the Education of Needy Children Co-Chair Management Committee Ratu Isoa Gavidi, who was present at the Health Ministry walk this morning.
Gavidi told those that participated in the walk that any form of contribution would be highly appreciated by the Foundation.
Meanwhile, research carried out by FENC Fiji revealed that from 1970 there has been an increase in poverty, and figures show that 9 to 40% of Fiji's population now live below the poverty line.
FENC Fiji believes that education is the key to breaking this cycle.
The FENC Fiji will be officially launched by the Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama tonight.
