This is the plea from Education Ministry Permanent Secretary Filipe Jitoko who said even though school has started, a lot of school kids still need help and any business houses willing to lend a hand would be most welcome.
Dahia Shoes yesterday donated 1,000 pairs of sandals and 1,000 pairs of boots to school kids affected by the floods.
Meanwhile, three weeks after the floods, the Fiji Sevashram Sangha is still receiving requests for assistance from schools in Nausori and Nadi.
Assistant Secretary Akhilesh Prasad said they started their education relief work last week Monday and so far they have assisted more than 2000 students.
