22 children staying at the Nanuku settlement in Vatuwaqa today received help with payment of their annual school fees from the Nanuku Indian Methodist Circuit.

Reverend James Baghwan said the $1718 raised was possible through the generous donations from their members and the money will go directly in to paying for the children's school fees. He adds that 17 children are in Primary while 5 are in secondary school and these children are not all members of the Methodist Church as they aimed to help those that are in need.

Most of the children that we spoke to were excited about the chance to go to school uninterrupted.
