Children around the country took centre stage today as they led the Church services to celebrate Palm Sunday marking the start of the Holy week.
Fiji Village News today joined the children as they enacted various scenes to celebrate Palm Sunday.
Also the General Secretary of the Methodist Church, Reverand Ame Tugawe said the message portrayed by the children is important not only to Christians but all races in Fiji.
Children's Sunday or Palm Sunday is the start of Holy Week whereby Christians everywhere commemorate the last days of Jesus Christ on earth from his grand entrance into Jerusalem today, his last meal with his 12 apostles on Holy Thursday, his crucifixtion on Good Friday and his resurrection on Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday.
