Every single child deserves a proper education.
These are the words of the chairman of the Fiji Islands Tourist Association Nadi Branch Errol Fifer while handing over a $12,000 cheque to the Save the Children Fund this afternoon.
Fifer said their association chose the Children's Fund because of its important work in promoting children's education and responding to their needs including providing assistance for those students facing hardship.
Fifer added that he views education as a priority in any child's life.
Chief executive of Save the Children's Fund Chandra Shekhar said the money will be used towards the supporting of education assistance to needy students.
