The Chiefs went to the top of the Super Rugby standings when they beat the Cheetahs 33-39 last night.

The Chiefs outscored the Cheetahs by two tries to five as they secured the bonus point with Sonny Bill Williams and Richard Kahui scoring their first tries of the season. 

Meanwhile the Crusaders brought an abrupt end to the Stormers six match unbeaten run with a 31-24 victory, the Brumbies secured their fourth win after thrashing the rebels 37-6, the Waratahs held on to beat the force 23-18, and the Bulls beat the Lions this morning 32-18.

Looking at the Points standing the Chiefs lead with 31 points, Stormers are in second place with 29 points while the Brumbies are third with 27.
