The Chiefs have moved back to the top of the New Zealand Conference when they smashed the Lions 38-8 in Super rugby last night.

The victory is the Chiefs first in six matches. The Chiefs outscored the Lions by six tries to one in the contest.

Meanwhile, Flying Fijians Center, Nemani Nadolo scored a try for the Crusaders as they hammered the Brumbies 40-20 in Christchurch yesterday.

Nadolo scored after Sam Whitelock charged down a kick from Matt Toomua. 

First-five Colin Slade nailed seven penalties for the Crusaders.

The Waratahs moved back into second place in the Australian Conference when they beat the Hurricanes 39-30 with a bonus point in Sydney last night.

The result brought an end to the Hurricanes four match winning streak.

This morning, the Stormers won their third match of the season when they beat the Highlanders 29-28 with a bonus point while the Bulls fought back to claim a 26-21 victory over the Cheetahs.
