The Chiefs will spend their bye week searching for answers after they were hammered flat by the Highlanders over the weekend.

Knocked over at home 26‑13 by the Highlanders, the Chiefs have finally been overtaken at the top of the New Zealand conference.

Chiefs coach Dave Rennie said they will bounce back.

He said the team had prepared really well for the Highlanders match but there was lack of accuracy.

The Highlanders will clash with the Crusaders at 7.35pm this Friday.

The Rebels play the Brumbies at 9.40pm.
