The Chiefs are taking it easy in the build up to the Super Rugby final.

They had a solid, though slightly conservative, training run to start preparations for grand final week with a couple of key members of the squad not taking part.

Flanker Tanerau Latimer continues to take no part early in the week due to his bruised left calf, Captain Craig Clarke and second five Bundee Aki also watched the session from the sidelines while wing Lelia Masaga spent his time this morning in the gym.

The Chiefs will train again this afternoon in private, before having tomorrow off.

Meanwhile, Brumbies Coach Jake White said they are yet to come up with something against the Chiefs.

The Chiefs will host the Brumbies at 7:35pm this Saturday.
