The Chiefs will now look to select their strongest possible team every week at the business end of Super Rugby after rotating players and combinations throughout the season.

A high injury toll in 2013, particularly in the backline and at No 8, the Chiefs have never put the same 15 players out on the field two weeks in a row.

But with all players back from injury except centre Richard Kahui, who has been ruled out for the season, and only minor question marks over fullback/five-eighth Gareth Anscombe and hooker Mahonri Schwalger, the coaches have a full roster to choose from for this Friday night's match against the Crusaders in Christchurch and then the following Saturday against the Blues in Auckland.

The Chiefs last played the Crusaders at home in their last match before the recent break and won 28-19 at Waikato Stadium.

The Chiefs have Ben Afeaki back at tight head prop and Tim Nanai-Williams at centre after they missed that last Crusaders game through injury, while Lelia Masaga seems likely to start in the No 14 jersey ahead of Patrick Osborne this time.

All Black Sam Cane is likely to get his starting turn this week.

The Chiefs will meet the Crusaders at 7:35pm on Friday.
