Another plus for the Chiefs is that they beat the Sharks earlier this season when the Sharks were at home and they have not lost to the Sharks in their last three matches.

The Sharks have been scoring tries fairly freely in recent weeks but history suggests that this won’t be the case this weekend as in their last three matches against the Chiefs they have failed to score a try.

The last Sharks try against the Chiefs was scored way back in February 2009.

The last time the Sharks won in Hamilton was in 2009 and they won 15-22.

Neither team has won a Super Rugby tournament and both have felt the pain of losing a Super Rugby final.

The Chiefs lost to the Bulls in 2009 but the Sharks lost to the Bulls 19-20 in 2007 and 36-6 to the Brumbies in 2001.

The Chiefs will host the Sharks at 7:35pm tomorrow.
