The strength and fitness of the Chiefs has shone through in their 45-3 Super Rugby win over the Cheetahs in Hamilton last night.

The home side’s scored 35 unanswered points in the second half after the visitors had kept the score to 10-3 at halftime.

Chiefs flanker Sam Cane said their hard preseason training is paying off.

The Chiefs have joined the Blues in taking the maximum 10 points from their first two games.

Meanwhile, the Bulls have rallied from 26-19 down to beat the Western Force 36-26 in Pretoria and the Sharks defeated the Stormers 12-6 in a nail biting finish.
