The Chiefs have made multiple changes to their team to play the Hurricanes in New Plymouth in the Super Rugby.
Pauliasi Manu, Quentin MacDonald and Ben Tameifuna will combine to make the starting front row with Hika Elliot rested.
Michael Leitch will shift to flanker while Ma’ama Vaipulu will wear the No 8 jersey.
Sonny Bill Williams will also make his long awaited return to rugby this week.
Meanwhile, the Hurricanes first five Beauden Barrett will miss the game after suffering a calf strain.
James Marshall will start in the number 10 jersey.
Lock James Broadhurst and flanker Ardie Savea have dropped to the bench replaced by Mark Abbott and Taranaki‑born Callum Gibbins.
Captain Conrad Smith will join Ma’a Nonu as the most capped Hurricane when he leads his team out on Saturday night.
The teams that have qualified for the playoffs are the Hurricanes, the Waratahs, the Stormers, the Chiefs, the Highlanders and the Brumbies.
The Blues will host the Highlanders at 7.35pm tomorrow while the Rebels will take on the Force at 9.40pm.
On Saturday the Brumbies will host the Crusaders at 5.30pm, the Chiefs will take on the Hurricanes at 7.35pm while the Waratahs will face the Reds at 9.40pm.
On Sunday the Bulls will take on the Cheetahs at 3.05am while the Sharks will face the Stormers at 5.10am.
