The Chiefs are currently leading the super rugby points table after 12 rounds of competition.

Chiefs have 53 points followed by the Stormers with 50 and the Brumbies with 45.

With two rounds of super rugby to go before the semi finals, three sides stand equal chances of making the top four from the wild card teams which includes the Crusaders, the Sharks and the Bulls.

Meanwhile the Cheetahs beat the Waratahs 35-34 this morning, the Hurricanes thumped the Rebels 66-24, the Blues lost to the Highlanders 27-20, Western Force beat the Lions 17-11, Sharks beat the Stormers 25-20 and the Reds won over the Brumbies 13-12.
