The Chiefs have fended off a late comeback from the Stormers last night to win 36-20 in Hamilton.
The home side led 17-6 at halftime thanks to Aaron Cruden’s boot and a try from James Lowe and looked to have the game under control when Tawera Kerr Barlow crossed over for a try moments into the second half.
Meanwhile the Crusaders outmuscled the Rebels 25-19 in Melbourne to improve their winning record to 50 percent four games into Super Rugby.
Today, the Hurricanes will face the Cheetahs at 3.35pm, at 6.35pm the Highlanders takes on the Force while the Brumbies will takes on the Waratahs 8.40pm.
