Tailevu chiefs are unlikely to attend the “Bose ni Turaga” meeting at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks scheduled for the 16th and 17th of this month.
Speaking on behalf of the “Bose Vanua” of Tailevu, the “Toranibau” Ratu Veiwili Komaitai said he did not receive any invitation and it is unlikely the chiefs of Tailevu will attend the meeting.
Another Bau chief Ratu Epenisa Cakobau said he also did not receive any invitation and is urging other chiefs of his province to boycott the meeting.
Meanwhile, the Naitasiri “Bose Vanua” is currently underway at Vunidawa and the chiefs are currently waiting for the Qaranivalu, Ratu Inoke Takiveikata.
