The Vanua of Vuda where the President Ratu Josefa Iloilo hails from is calling on the head of the Burebasaga confederacy to show some respect and follow the proper traditional Fijian protocol when speaking on behalf of the confederacy.

Ratu Tevita Momoedonu, the traditional spokesperson of the Tui Vuda, said that the people of Vuda are surprised that Ro Teimumu Kepa is saying that the Burebasaga confederacy does not support the moves by the Fijian Affairs Ministry to review the Great Council of Chiefs.

Momoedonu said the Marama Na Roko Tui Dreketi should know that the President is the current Head of State and any views that is against the interim administration is also against the Tui Vuda.
