People can expect an increase in the prices of chicken dishes later this month as the government has removed the price control on chicken and chicken products.
We spoke to well known eateries in Fiji today who say price increase on chicken dishes is inevitable now.
McDonald's Managing Director, Mark Mcelrath said they will now have to review the prices of their chicken dishes.
KFC Managing Director, Ferry Gunawan shared similar sentiments saying they will try their best to keep the prices affordable for their customers.
Chicken Express Managing Director, Ashwin Sharma added they will wait for the release of new chicken prices after which they will review their product prices.
