2009 Cook Islands Mini Games Chef de Mission Patrick Bower and FASANOC Secretary General, Atma Maharaj are currently attending a meeting of the Pacific Games Council in Rarotonga.

It has been confirmed that a number of sessions were convened over the weekend, with delegates getting to hear firsthand about a new Games regional marketing initiative.

The new sponsorship will link several games together under the same sponsor as is done with the Olympics and Commonwealth Games.

Also on the agenda are the issue of the Games Charter review and the issue of eligibility.

The meeting also gives delegates a chance to see and hear how the Cooks are progressing their 2009 Games.
