The Cheetahs will hope to celebrate their best season in Super Rugby tonight by gate crashing a playoff party for the Brumbies.

The Cheetahs who have qualified for the playoffs for the first time are the only one of the six remaining teams which has never won a Super Rugby title.

Their opponents, the Brumbies have won twice, the Crusaders are seven time champions, the Bulls have won three times while the Chiefs have won once.

Meanwhile, Brumbies coach Jake White said veteran flanker George Smith will definitely be among his starting lineup for the match, though Smith had a tough time in the third Lions test after suffering an early head knock.

The Brumbies hosts the Cheetahs at 6.10 tonight.

Meanwhile, the Crusaders thrashed the Reds 38-9 last night in the first playoff.
