With only two days left for the biggest athletics meet in the country to get underway, another major event that will take place on the sidelines will be cheerleading.
Organizers for the Coca Cola Games have revealed that over 2,000 athletes are expected with over 15,000 fans expected to fill the TFL Stadium.
Lavon Goundar from Suva Grammar said the girls in the school decided to revive their cheerleading squad after two years as many other children are not taking part but want to cheer their school on.
Meanwhile, Holy Family Team Manager Jo Nawaiqila said as they will be coming all the way from the North they will be relying on their old scholars for support.
The Coca Cola Games start this Friday and Saturday at the TFL Stadium.
