The Fijian Teachers Association is calling on the Interim Minister of Finance Mahendra Chaudhry not to blame others on the current economy situation.
President Tevita Koroi said while the interim administration maintains that they cannot restore the 5 percent pay cut, civil servants have nothing to do with what the country is currently facing.
Koroi also believes that Chaudhry should not compare the past coups of 1987 and 2000 where there were pay cuts for civil servants.
The FTA will wait for the outcome of today's cabinet meeting before they announce their next move.
