The Citizens Constitutional Forum has called on the Interim Prime Minister to conduct an independent inquiry into the allegations leveled against Interim Finance Minister Mahendra Chaudhry.
Chief Executive Officer, Reverend Akuila Yabaki said what is really needed is an inquiry by an independent authority into these allegations.
Reverend Yabaki has also called on Chaudhry to step aside for the duration of the independent inquiry.
He said if the Interim Government does not show seriousness in the matter, it will affect its other good initiatives.
