Ousted Prime Minister, Laisenia Qarase said Chaudhry should resign.
He said since December 5th 2006, the interim government has terminated those in senior positions after receiving certain allegations against them, and it should do the same with Chaudhry.
Qarase also raises the question on why the details of the inquiry was made public after the team had already started its work.
Chaudhry said he will speak later.
According to Sayed-Khaiyum the team is headed by Bruce Cowley, a partner in the Minster Ellison law firm in Australia, a member of the International Bar Association and is familiar with laws in Fiji as he has carried out a number of assignments in Fiji since the SVT Government days.
Another member of the team is Russel Postle, a tax specialist and a member of the Forensic Accountants Special Group of the Institute of Accountants in Australia along with former Deputy PM and Education Minister, Taufa Vakatale.
