The Interim Finance and Public Utilities Minister is hoping that most of the water supply problems faced in the country would be fixed by the end of the year.
As water cuts continue in some areas, Mahendra Chaudhry said a full analysis is being carried out on contract works and how tax dollars were spent to provide water supply.
Chaudhry said a lot of work needs to be done and the necessary steps are now being taken.
Chaudhry revealed last month that he was surprised to find out that some reservoirs were not connected to the main water supply systems, after carrying out an inspection earlier this year.
