Suva lawyer Rajendra Chaudhry has strongly hit out at a government press release which stated that he has written to the Interim Prime Minister personally apologizing for his recent outbursts against the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC).
Chaudhry said he never apologized to Commodore Frank Bainimarama.
Chaudhry maintained that FICAC is incompetent and it should not be compared with the Interim Government's progress so far.
Chaudhry added that his letter to the Interim Prime Minister was confidential and should not have been made public.
However, Deputy Secretary Information Major Neumi Leweni said the letter contained an apology.
