As a number of political parties and the Methodist Church continue to stress that the People's Charter is aimed at replacing the constitution, the Head of the Technical Secretariat of the NCBBF John Samy said this is not the case.
Samy said the Charter is aimed at strengthening the constitution.
NCBBF member Peni Moore said the charter process being followed is to test the peoples power and politicians are against the idea because the changes will affect them.
