The People's Charter for Change, Peace and Progress will in no way interfere with the Vola ni Kawa Bula or VKB.
This is the assurance given by the Head of the Technical and Support Secretariat, John Samy while speaking at the Training of the Trainers workshop for the eastern division at the Police Academy in Nasese.
He told the participants that those opposed to the Draft Charter are telling people that it will affect the VKB and the landownership which is a utter lie.
He is calling on people not to be easily swayed by these people. Samy also highlighted that the discussion on land in the Draft Charter is not about land ownership but accessibility to land for social and economic purpose.
