The chairman of the Namosi Provincial Council said their decision not to allow any member of the National Council for Building A Better Fiji (NCBBF) into the province to carry out consultations on the draft People's Charter has not changed.

Chairman Ratu Romanu Matanitobua said the decision made in their Bose Ni Vanua still stands, and as long as Tui Namosi Ratu Suliano Matanitobua is not allowed to be part of the Great Council of Chiefs, the province of Namosi will not entertain anything to do with the interim government.

Ratu Romanu said the Tui Namosi has not called another Bose Ni Vanua to decide whether or not to allow the NCBBF team in, so they're maintaining the stand to reject the draft People's Charter.

Meanwhile, Fijivillage has been informed this morning that the NCBBF team will still go into the Namosi province to distribute the draft People's Charter booklets.

The team is currently in the Serua province and will move to Namosi within the next few days.
