More than 10,000 people are reported to be agreeing with the draft People’s Charter during house-to-house consultations in the Western Division.

Commissioner Western Joeli Rokovada said more than 11,000 people were consulted during the activity and that 10,759 agreed with the document while 86 have agreed with some amendments to the draft People’s Charter.

He said the house-to-house activity is the only positive way of obtaining the percentage needed to embrace the Charter and this will be continued through the whole exercise.
