The Peoples Charter for Change Peace and Progress it is about change of the individual person at the very fundamental level.

Those were the words of interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama as the final version of the Peoples Charter has been finalized for printing by the interim government.

Commodore Bainimarama has reiterated that the interim government is firmly committed towards the restoration and sustenance of true parliamentary democratic governance, stability and peace in Fiji.

He said the changes introduced through the Peoples Charter will be comprehensive and not a process happening at an objective abstract level in systems of government, the laws, economy and so on as people assume.

Commodore Bainimarama highlighted that this is no means an easy challenge adding Fiji, as a nation cannot change for the better unless people at the personal level change their views, attitude, motives and actions and how they can work and act in various situations.
