The Fiji Military Forces has clarified that it will not stop any person or political parties from contesting the next General Election but they will ensure that the criteria set in the People's Charter for those who are contesting the elections, is followed.
RFMF spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga said that the Charter will provide the citizens of this country with leaders who will take them forward.
Lieutenant Colonel Tikoitoga adds that the individual rights of a person is not taken away in the criteria, which is provided by the Charter.
