The fourth National People's Charter Advisory Council meeting was held this morning with concerns raised on the use of resources and deliberations too wide and thin.
Council chairman Josefa Serulagilagi while opening the meeting told the members that they need to carefully define and refocus deliberations and work activities.
Serulagilagi also told the members that they now need to focus and confine themselves in monitoring the progress made by the government in terms of implementing the 11 pillars of the Charter.
The National People’s Charter Advisory Council is currently deliberating on the first quarter reports from the various Government Ministries with regards to Pillar implementation and also had their sub-committee resolution follow-up.
The meeting held at the Tanoa Plaza in Suva is expected to finish later this afternoon.
