Charges dismissed against Nagin
Commissioner John Connors, after listening to the evidence presented before him in relation to allegations of alleged unprofessional conduct by Nagin, ruled that the charges are dismissed on the grounds that there is lack of evidence on the allegations.
Commissioner Connors has indicated that he will prepare a written ruling on his decision to dismiss the charges next week, after looking through the record of the proceedings.
Representing the Chief Registrar Virisila Lidise also informed the Commissioner that two other charges laid against Nagin in relation to a separate complainant of alleged misconduct and unprofessional behavior, is also being withdrawn by the Chief Registrar.
Meanwhile, Nagin is appearing before the Commission again this afternoon on a separate complaint.
A total of seven charges were laid against Nagin after complaints received by the Chief Registrars office, however, at this stage only one charge remains which is currently being heard before the Commission.
