Labasa Businessman Charan Jeath Singh has been taken into police custody in Suva for questioning over comments he is alleged to have made in one of the dailies.
Singh confirmed to Fijivillage news this afternoon that he was taken into custody about four hours go.
Singh is alleged to have made seditious comments in Saturday's Fiji in relation to the Interim Finance Minister Mahendra Chaudhry being asked to resign from cabinet.
The Fiji Times reporter, Serafina Silaitoga was also questioned in regards to the matter.
