Channel Two Television which has successfully obtained a free to air television license earlier this week has come under spotlight after its Director, Mike Brook who owns 51% shares in the company resigned.

Brook who is also the Managing Director of Sunny Brook's Holdings Fiji Limited confirmed to Village News that he still owns 51% shares in the company however, he has resigned from the Directors position citing personal reasons.

According to Brook, Channel Two Television was unable to obtain a license for past few years because it could not fulfill some of the requirements set by the Commerce and Communication Ministry.

He claims it was through his 51% share, the company was able to obtain a license.

However, Channel Two Television's Chairman, Ken Stratton said his company has not in any way used Brook to obtain the free to air television license.
