The Prices and Incomes Board has announced the decrease in the wholesale and retail prices of motor spirit and premix outboard fuel while there will be a slight increase in the price of kerosene.
From tomorrow, motor spirit will decrease by 5c from $2.32 to $2.27 per litre with Premix Outboard Fuel decreasing by 4c from $2.26 to $2.22 per litre.
However, kerosene will increase by 2c from $2.03 to $2.05 per litre. Diesel prices remain the same at $2.28 per litre.
The PIB said the global price trend reflects a weakening global demand adding that fluctuations in world prices at a high level will continue based on the movement of the US dollar and geopolitical factors, particularly in oil producing countries.
