Wallabies veteran Adam Ashley‑Cooper has revealed a change in culture has helped them finally beat the All Blacks and gain some much‑needed silverware.
After winning the Rugby Championship, the Wallabies now look to claim the Bledisloe Cup in Auckland, a match that is seen as a crucial indicator ahead of the Rugby World Cup in England in September.
Ashley‑Cooper says that after they lost to France last November, the team sat in a circle and thrashed out their problems, agreeing that the rot on and off the field had to stop.
He says they spoke about who they actually wanted to be, an identity, how they needed to play for something more than themselves, and to achieve something special.
The Wallabies have taken on the mantra that better people make better players.
The Wallabies will take on the All Blacks at Eden Park at 7.35pm this Saturday.
