Change in CVC soccer series format
Before, the winners of the National Soccer League and the IDC would face each other on a home and away basis to determine who would walk away with the CVC title.
At the Fiji FA AGM in Nadi last week, a motion was moved by Navua to include the winner of the major tournaments and the National Soccer League champions for the CVC playoffs.
This will mean the Fiji Fact champion, BOG, IDC, and National Soccer League winner will meet next season to determine the CVC holders of 2010.
Navua are the current Fiji Fact and IDC champion, Ba will also feature in the CVC as the BOG winner and Lautoka, as the new National Soccer League holders.
While the 4th team is yet to be confirmed it is likely to be given to Suva after reaching all of the 3 semifinals in the major tournaments this season.
