"Count our abilities, and not the disabilities".
These are the words of the Fiji Disable Peoples Association member Elenoa Kaisau's who said people need to change their attitude towards people with disabilities so that they can also live a normal life.
Kaisau said they are often discriminated when it comes to job opportunities and promotions.
According to Kaisau they often feel uncomfortable when attending interviews for jobs because people in the interview panel often ask different set of questions to them.
She was speaking on a media awareness workshop on the convention on the rights of persons with Disabilities.
