Fiji's Boundaries Commission Chairman Suresh Chandra is expected to meet Bureau of Statistics officials this week after revelations that final statistics on the Population Census will be released next month.

It was previously indicated that the report will be released today however Census Director Epeli Waqavonovono confirmed they needed more time and hope to complete their work in a month's time, as there are some delays in processing.

It had been confirmed that Chandra jetted into the country last night and will resume office this morning.

He had indicated earlier that the commission will await the final report on the population census before deciding on the proposed changes in the boundaries which may take six to seven months.
