Japan could get a chance to host most of the matches in the 2010 IRB Pacific Nations Cup competition.
The IRB has decided to remain with the current format of the competition for another few years so that one country can host most of the matches.
IRB General Manager in Oceania William Glenwright said they have not made a decision yet about next year's competition but will be happy to see Japan, Tonga or Samoa host most of the matches as Fiji did this year.
The 2009 IRB Pacific Nations Cup competition will end on Friday after the Fiji/Japan match at the TFL National Stadium.
Junior All Blacks have won this year's competition but they have a game in hand and will meet Tonga on Thursday at 3:10pm at the National Stadium.
