President Ratu Josefa Iloilo has appointed Suva lawyer Suresh Chandra as Chairman for the Constituency Boundaries Commission.
In a press conference this morning, Interim Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum announced Chandra's appointment and revealed that he will serve for a two year period.
Chandra has previously worked in the Lands Department in New Zealand.
Sayed-Khaiyum said the three members will now meet and look at figures provided by the Census Office.
Meanwhile, Sayed-Khaiyum has also revealed that interviews for the Supervisor of Elections position will start soon.
