With the 2010 National Budget to be announced this Friday, there are certain expectations on what the budget should and should not contain.
The Ecumenical Centre for Research Education and Advocacy hopes to see a budget that does not see the privatization of any basic need.

Executive Director Dr Sitiveni Yanuyanutawa said the ground work for the proposed school has already been finalized and all they need now is the funds to construct a similar institution like the existing one at Qarase House in Suva.
The National 2010 Budget is to be announced this Friday by Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama.
