Firecrackers will again be the attraction this Diwali however a ban will be imposed on certain types of crackers like last year.
Fiji Retailers Association President Himmat Lodhia said that traders have started preparations for Diwali by ordering firecrackers and while some are already in the country, some are still to arrive.
Many retailers known for selling a vast range of fireworks during Diwali confirmed that they will be selling firecrackers this Diwali however also said that the sale will start two weeks before Diwali.
Diwali falls on 28th of next month.
