Members of the Cententary church congregation today welcomed Ousted Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase and his wife at a church service in Suva.
Speaking in Fijian, the Church elder said members of the Cententary church eagerly waited to see one of their own after they heard the news on the radio yesterday that Qarase was on his way to Suva.
He said that they welcome Qarase back as a member of the congregation and it does not mean that they are supporting his SDL party.
Some of Qarase's ousted colleagues, Josefa Vosanibola, Solomoni Naivalu and sacked CEO Viliame Koyamaibole also attended the church service this morning.
