The National Census being conducted also aims to identify the distribution of income in the country and how people in various sectors of the community live, eat and make ends meet.
Census Director, Epeli Waqavonovono, told Village News while they hope to ascertain how much income is derived by each household, they have decided not to ask people how much they earn as it should be left to more qualified enumerators.
Waqavonovono adds that people should not be reluctant to give certain personal information required by the enumerators as it will help them in the future.
Meanwhile, enumerators hit the streets around the country again this morning and Waqavonovono said they hope to have covered all households by the end of today.
He also stresses that those who have missed out so far should not worry as enumerators will be coming around before Tuesday.
